Cyber PG today was simple.
Zoe, Joel and Ollie (Olivia) was at Cyber PG today. Many couldn’t make it because of work schedules. Some are away for work purposes like Jeffrey who is in Indonesia.
We decided to have lunch at Ericsson instead of Kassim’s because Zoey has stomach discomfort and can’t take spicy food.

Zoe, Joel and myself enjoyed each other’s fellowship as we shared not only about our work but also our different types of personalities. Besides, we shared our prayer requests and closed in prayer.
We met Chu Yaw at Ericsson while having PG. He couldn’t joined us as he was rushing back to conduct training.

Even though it was just 3 of us today, nevertheless, it was definitely encouraging.

Hebrews 10:24-25

  ²⁴ Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. ²⁵ And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Another awesome meeting at MMU Vegetarian. Well most of us had vegetarian but Shobi and Zack ventured out to try the Turkish food at the same canteen. Zack even made some new friends with the Turkish shop owners hehe.

It’s a week of bountiful testimonies, with most of us having quite some testimonies to share. My own being I finally found my new PC RM200 below my budgeted price, praise God! Zoe was picked for interview with a Japanese exchange program which is great. We’re praying that the interview will go well and she will have an opportunity to visit Japan to share stuff with them. Also we had Khim who is safely back from his travels from Philippines and India, and also his brave act of trying out Balut (I shall not elaborate for the sake of the weak stomached haha) after fighting back his fears for about 15 minutes. Khim even brought us word that Janet already has her first project to kick start her business! We wish you all the best on your new journey Janet!

Another exciting time at PG this wednesday. This week was at FCM cafe at MMU since it was a little more peaceful near the end of the semester with many students already going back for the holidays. We also had 2 join us for the first time, welcoming Simon from MMU and Joo Guan, Rachel’s colleague from Shell. Glad to see you guys, although I didn’t have a chance to speak to Joo Guan much since the table was huge! Hope you can join us again that we can get to know each other a little better.

But at our end of the table, we spoke about stuff like the dairy products issue from China. Based on some requests I’ve already forwarded the list of approved items, as well as some that have been recalled by the government. Hope you will find it useful especially you milk fans out there, kudos to Shobi for sending the lists. If you did not receive but wish to get it, drop me a line at chinjijian@hotmail.com

2) Chu Yaw in Bangkok – pray for protection as he is training there while “Darurat” is declared in the whole country.

Cyberjaya PG was simply great!

We had 2 new ladies from DHL who joined our PG today, Shu Ling and Hsieh Ying.
Hsieh Ying is from Kuantan who knows Elder Daniel, Deacon Jack, and Albert and all from their Kuantan church.
Shu Ling from JB who was studying in INTI subang before and actually knows Edwin Ong who were campus-mate.

Feddie Sim is Rachel’s colleague and working in Shell.

We had a great time just getting to know each other and sharing our life stories. Shared a bit on my convocation. It was a great time of just meeting old time friends and great opportunity for another family reunion. Parents and brothers took leave from work and college to attend my convocation. Prayer requests:
1) Rachel’s dad discovered a lump in his breast and was admitted to SJMC for operation yesterday morning (12 Aug). We’re still waiting for the results of the test. Pray for her dad that for faith, courage and healing.

2) Zoey – struggling with work

3) Shoby will be going for her company’s bowling tornament tonight (13 Aug) at IOI mall.

Bayou Lakehouse rocks. What Janet and Rach said was true, really feels like being in a resort in another place other than Cybergiant. Plus the set meal’s nett at RM10…this is definitely a place to meet more often. Yeah I’ve included a few pics of the place too.

Four of us for this PG, with newcomer Shobi who’s working as an intern at Cyberview Lodge who joined under invitation from Olivia. Oh and hope Olivia had a great convo too. Tell us more about it next week.

For testimonies, well I’m glad to be back safely in one piece from Lang Tengah losing only a fair amount of skin due to sunburn hehe. Had to pr

ay for my throat which is still sore though. Other prayer items include Maria’s ankle and Olivia’s convocation (yeah we couldn’t be there in person, but we could be there in prayer ) .

Welcome to my PG updates.

Yesterday we have myself, Janet, Rachel, Olives, Khim (the famous five), Yoke May and Maria (our new friend) at our PG at Khush’s(izzit the right spelling??) at Century Square. I made a lame joke about being at Century Square or b square but somehow my email did nt get through on Monday. Anyway….how is everyone on this hot and balmy Thursday afternoon?

Prayer items include praying for people with ’sprained body parts’, Maria for her ankle and Jeffrey for his finger (hows ur finger now, Jeff?); Khim, for journey mercies for his trip to jakarta next week; myself, for the commencing semester and its ensuing kraziness/choaticness; Janet, for her to be able to cope with work pressures; Yoke May, to have a positive attitude towards her students………..and generally God’s blessings upon those of us who cant make it to PG.

So when am i seeing you guys..namely Freddie, Jeff and the Ericsson gang? Do try to join us for a refreshing time of fellowship and ‘fei lo’ship (okay, overused term)…Till we meet again next week….welcome back Jijian and have a great weekend, guys!!!!!

And we spent time talking about all things under the sun, from mineral water bottles to graduation convos to trips to Lang Tengah. Really looking forward to meeting the new people next week, and really miss you guys at Ericsson and DHL too. Hope you guys have a safe trip back from wherever you are right now.

Also to inform you, the Revolution team will be going to Penang this weekend to minister to the youth of Penang, so do keep them in prayer. We’re praying for God to move mightily in Penang through this event and touch the lives of every youth who’s going to attend out there. We believe it’s going to be an awesome conference and will change many lives. For more info, there’s their website.

Last but not least, my testimony to share. Remember praying for me during our Lim Kok Wing PG to be able to move forward in my masters programme? Well, my supervisor got back to me the very next day. My work completion seminar, the seminar to conclude my research for my masters, was conducted last Monday and everything went well, praise God. I’ll be busy writing my thesis now, but before that I’m catching a little R&R with Joshua and gang at Lang Tengah next week, so Zoe’s going to take the next PG. Hope you guys have an awesome PG next week as well!
